Verde

This six-storey, 30-unit condo building is located in Esquimalt’s urban core and was constructed on a narrow lot previously containing a single family dwelling. Wood components of the building were pre-fabricated in a factory, delivered to site and craned into place. Given the small site with little to no staging area, this was an ideal solution for construction. To help residents consider alternative modes of transportation as a way of reducing greenhouse gas emissions, several measures have been implemented. Modo car shares were assigned to each unit and a Modo vehicle was added to the current fleet by the developer. Generous bike parking has also been provided. Large private patios are located on the second level, helping to activate the street edge. An amenity room has also been provided for the residents.
